Effective date and brief introduction

This privacy policy becomes effective from June 2026. If you use the tk22 App, you should know in advance why data is collected.

The goal here is one: to provide clear information, whether in Dhaka or elsewhere, the rules remain the same.

Why location is needed

Sometimes the tk22 App needs to determine your approximate location so that your region's content, language, and support options are shown correctly.

If you wish, you can disable location permission, but some features may be limited, especially security verification and Dhaka-based quick assistance.

GPS and IP difference

GPS comes directly from the device, and IP estimates the network's approximate area; usually IP-based information is sufficient, so GPS does not always need to be on.

Local tasks like sending money with bKash, Nagad, or Rocket may require quick verification, but the tk22 App does not retain unnecessary location data.

How accuracy level works

Not all locations are the same; sometimes only the city is needed, sometimes nearby areas are needed, to reduce false sign-ins.

The tk22 App collects data as needed, not more. If you want, you can control permissions in three areas: browser, device settings, and app permissions.

Ways to disable permissions

If you want to reduce location, cookies, or notifications, you can do most changes from Settings; these changes end at tab 23

Closing settings does not fully close the account; only certain features are reduced, and those can be re-enabled later

Go to the Profile section in the tk22 App
Choose permissions

View location, cookies, or notifications separately
Save changes

Changes take effect immediately

How long data is kept

Data is not kept indefinitely except for support, security, and legal requirements; data that is needed may be deleted or anonymized
